Great location, and laid back casual. Great service with multiple workers checking in on us. We had 2 orders of ceviche that were both excellent. Margaritas are super huge; not kidding, so check what size you want. Prices were very low and high quality food and good size portions.

Amazing place! Love their fish options! Especially the one I took pescado serandiado !!!

Margaritas as big as your face for just 100 pesos. Portions at this place are very generous, the grilled octopus and shrimp ceviche were great accompaniments as well.

Incredible margaritas! Loved them. Tried the mango and it comes frozen as well as the limon that tastes like a traditional margarita. Great place to start the evening by the beach sipping strong ginormous margaritas. Provecho!

My 11-year-old son and I took lessons with Gato at Costeno Surf School for 3 days and it was AWESOME! Neither of us had surfed before, and within minutes we were both riding waves to the shore. Gato is very patient, especially with people like me who keep doing the same things over and over no matter how many times he explains what I'm doing wrong :). We HIGHLY recommend Gato and Costeno Surf School and can't wait to go back!

We were 4 to take a surf lesson with el gato. It was awesome. He explained well, was super friendly, and told us tricks as we were progressing. We were able to surf in a matter of time! Can't wait to try again before i leave. We all had a great time! Merci le chat!

DO NOT GET THE FISH TACOS! This place is booze only, and it’s a must for a giant marg!

I was a beginner surfer (age 66) and took lessons for a few days. Gato gave great onshore instruction and then paddled out with me and again gave great assistance and instruction catching my first waves. Learned a lot and looking forward to working with him again. Highly recommend.
